NEWARK. N.J. -- The Blues will finish a three-game trip through the New York-area when they take on the Devils on Wednesday night.
When they do so, the Blues will not be playing against forward Timo Meier, who was suspended for one game on Tuesday for cross-checking Nashville's Zachary L'Heureux on Monday night. Meier had seven goals and eight assists in 24 games this season.
For the Blues, Robert Thomas was on the ice for optional morning skate after taking a maintenance day on Tuesday.
Jordan Binnington is expected to be in goal after Joel Hofer started Monday against the Rangers. It will be Binnington's second attempt at becoming the all-time winningest goalie in Blues history, as he's currently tied with Mike Liut at the leaderboard.
The following projected lineup is expected based on Tuesday afternoon's practice. Blues coach Jim Montgomery will meet with reporters on Wednesday evening before the game.
